What a fantastic result, so pleased with it and the way that we played first half was simply outstanding against a decent side.

We had a spot on report on them and so we came up with a game plan, tactically it worked an absolute treat in that first half, performance levels were first class and you won't see a much better display of attacking play. Goal ahead early from a great header from Oli Bailey from a Willo cross, then 2-0 Rob Carr with a great finish after cutting in, then 3-0 another fast run down the right and cross from Rob Carr finished off by Oli Bailey, yet again we raced down the right and a cross from Rob again was turned in by Simba. 4-0 at the break, we really didn't want the half time!

We came out after warning the lads that we needed to be ready for an onslaught, to be honest that didnt really come, we could have increased the lead, then they got one with a horrible deflected feee kick, this gave them a lift, we then conceded a poor penalty and they were really lifted by this. In fairness we closed and managed the game from there very impressively, could have increased lead on break but remained very solid and won 4-2! Frustrated to concede a couple of sloppy goals but we were solid after that and the display in first half was immense!!

Onto the next one, long old trip to Barnstaple who had a great result tonight, so we need to replicate this Saturday!

Up the citizens!
