City got back to winning ways today in this F.A. Trophy cup tie with a fighting performance against a good Fleet team. Play began quite even with both sides creating chances, but Fleet took the lead with a stunning volley from 20 yards that gave Lewis no chance. City were causing Fleet problems with Stuart Green, Andy Jenkinson, Taz Roberts and Craig Feeney all making strong runs toward the Fleet goal, and it was Stuart Green who burst through and squared the ball to Craig Feeney to slot in H.T.1-1. The second half started with both sides again playing some good football and having chances with City getting the upper hand with a string of corner kicks, City made the breakthrough when Craig Feeney went on a lovely solo run and finished under the Fleet keeper 1-2. That's how it finished with the City back four in control and the whole team making sure that we stayed in front, great performance from Craig Feeney with his two goals but the whole team fought with passion today.
